Answer for: Guild Wars 2 Suggestions
#61 Plant Minions
This would be for Sylvary necromancers.
They could realease a parasitic plant that when attached to foes, killing them slowly (and with aid of conditions that appear in order: poisoned condition, weakness and deep wound), it grows a plant minion from the corpse of the foe. This plant minion keeps feeding on the dead foes and growing.
Then there could be a more evolved plant golem minion creature that tanks and when its nearly dead depends on a survival skill that some of the carnivorous plants use: a trap. . . first it destroys itself leting all the plants of its body spread out of control, harming the nearby creatures when they move on them, then if a creature dies in that area while the plants are still alive. . . then the plant minion reasembles itself with an amount of health.
Independent plant golems of this kind could be found out there in Maguuma Jungle's depths. . .

sound like a good one although i think it would work better as an non-class related skill for the Sylvary or a earth elemental skill for all races sins plants have little to do with death
earth elemental skills for sylvary. . . ª_ª those could be different skills maybe.
I would prefer a necromancer path since they feed on the dead and all.
man-eating plants ftw!
The idea of plant golems. . . could be considered similar to flesh golems of the necromancers' Death Magic or as the asuran bodyguard-golems
but in this answer what I propose is how could Sylvary necromancers could be. . .
the 5 Races could have core and unique skills that makes a different experience when playing with each of them
well we can all agree on that
If you watch the GW2 trailer, it shows a sylvari summoning a plant-tree-thing.
I think this is probably done already.
I interpreted it as awakening a druid, but that too could run along similar lines.
From what I have seen in the interviews and concept art, GW2 is way better than I thought it would be. . .
and its possible that many of this ideas have been already created before we even put them here.
