Answer for: What upcoming games are you most excited about?
Borderlands (Done)
Announced about a 2 years ago, this game has looked tauntingly interesting for a while. You take the place of different characters, each searching a desolate planet for something called the Vault, which supposedly holds some uber-power, and some personal redemption for each character. What really suprises me is that instead of making acutal weapons, the dev's made weapon parts, which the game randomly assemble (in a useable fashion of course) so that there's over 600,000 different weapons, the site just began to get underway, but the lowdown on it is available online elsewhere, but I will provide the site link: http://www.borderlandsthegame.com/home.htm
*Update* OK, for anyone interested in buying this game, I don't believe they set a price, though I think it's quite possible thatit could in the upwards of 50$ range, the Release date has been finalized as October 20, 2009. If you do buy, I implore, review it for us (me) here, please! :)
*Oh, and fo ranyone undecided, there is anew gameplay vid and soem new screens on the site.

I like the idea of 4-player co-op. I wish more games emphasized co-op play. Here's a faq: http://gbxforums.gearb...php?t=71196

Sry I didn't add this earlier, Borderlands is out, it's completely and totally awsome, almost as addicting as Guild Wars is. If anyone is looking for a time waster in between nwo and GW2, you should certainly buy it, and if you already have it and want soem help, my Gamertag is the same as my account name on this sight,
Thanks for the review, LordZ. I've been wondering about this one a lot.
Did you try the split-screen co-op? Any thoughts on that?
I've tried the co-op witha freind, it's spotty at best, but when it works, it's amazingly fun. To ge the co-op to work, you basically need to use hamachi, because the lobby set up for the game is crummy. Though not having access to the multiplayer isn't a bad thing, the game plays spectacularly on it's own. As for "split-screan, I have it on the PC so if you're thinking about X-box 360 or PS3 i'm afraid i can't offer an opinion, though I belive teh live funtion for multiplayer is supposed to be much more stabel on a console.
Wonderful. Thanks.
