Sometimes chat and even voice takes too long when you can simply draw on the map for all to see. Guildwars' map communication is an ingenious way to keep team members together.

Only problem is when you get jerks who can't resist drawing swasticas, boners, etc. on the map, they piss off the entire party, then don't own up to it. Except for one idiot I played with who started freaking out, pouting, and even insulting us when we said "...whoever is drawing this is an immature jerk and has no sense of humor, Hello NO ONE is laughing, you can stop now", yea, get defensive, perfect way to avaiod blame. Other than that I have no quams with this feature, and actually find myself trying to draw on the minimaps in LOTRO and othe rgames, helps me realize how innovative it is.
