Answer for: What things do you like most about Guild Wars?

#15 Soloability

You can get pretty much anywhere in the game by yourself (with h/h). No high-end guild or other player(s) needed. No de facto need to get armor/weapons that you'd almost never be able to get on your own in order to remain competitive

With kids at home, I can't always commit to a team. So, most of my playing, especially in the explorable, areas has been done solo. I think that's a great testament to the developers' effort to make this game appealing to all sorts of playing styles.

Exactly! I have limited time to play, and many distractions with kids and pets. I love being able to start a quest or mission, leave my solo group in a safe spot, and go afk to do whatever I need to do at that moment, and then come back & pick up where I left off, without having to worry about other people having to sit there and wait for me.

This tactic seems to be the only option available to one trying to attain the Suvivor Title, and since i've started down that road, I've been extremely thankful that this option is possible.

That is a good thing there are people that are nice in the game. I have a family and work as well. Still I don't think I usually have the kind of flexibility you guys do.

Also I like the ability to solo so I don't have to peeve others off making them think I am leeching. Then the part about not always having people online to help in areas. That is why soloing is great and not every game has that.
