#279 Flying in special PvP areas.

I was thinking maybe having swimming or flying PvP areas. This would really be challenging.

We already know there's going to be swimming, but really what's the point of flying? It woulld just make control confusing and frustrating.

It has the same motions basically in games. Go all directions under water. Then going all directions in the sky.

Maybe arm movements are different but the placement is the same.

Then there is the question; How are we able to fly? And Why? Did all the races mutate and were given flying abilities?

Even if it's a cool feature, I wouldn't want flying in GW2.

I have seen in some places and this forum about flying mounts. Would you disagree to that one as well?

Well, unless ArenaNet gives us a good reason to why we have flying mounts, lorewise (in example, where do they come from, How did we tame them) then I'm against it. As long as things have a good reason, then I'm OK with it, but I wouldn't want to see flying mounts either way to be honest. Perhaps in a later state, but not for the initial release.

But well, that's just my opinion. ^^

That is what I said from what you guys put on this suggestion. Then the one guy that posted the flying travel suggestion said, it would be less fun not to.

Many others agreed it would be a cool idea to have such travel abilities for cartography titles. There was the idea that Asurans would build flying machines.

I wouldn't want to see too many mounts of any kind for the initial release, but many do want them.
Should we have to buy mounts with real world money I would be disappointed. I would like to earn mounts if there are any instead.
