Sorrow's Furnace- The Forge Heart

I'll never forget the first time I caught a glimpse of the Iron Forgeman. I thought he was a structure, until I saw him moving!

The Wilds

This is the first mission where you build vine bridges, and I remember playing it during the beta. It really demonstrated Guild War's unique advantages of having separate instances for group missions.

Doppelganger Fight

Who can forget Ascension in the Prophecies campaign? I remember agonizing with guild members as we tried to figure out a way to beat the mission the first time through. Oh, and 50,000 XP and the ability to change your secondary profession were pretty awesome rewards, too!

Vizunah Square

Had no idea about cooperative missions when I first tried Vizunah and was somewhat surprised, when after the initial stage, someone started talking to me. s/he asked:

"Are you a real person?"

Surprised or not, I replied: "No."

Following a lenghy pause my new friends must have realised that I might be pulling their leg/s and came back with:

"YES you are!"

Still even with this little detail out of the way we wiped and had to do the mission again.

Thunderhead Keep

Through camping the king this mission is quite easy but it's still quite a rush near the end when the enemies begin storming in more and more quickly :) Still my favorite Tyrian mission.

Dragon's Lair

You get to fight Glint. Need I say more?

Last Day Dawns

I cannot tell you how much I despised this quest, I mean COME ON! leave little, burnt up, singed, and ugly looking, no offense, Ascalon alone, first they're seared by the charr, then besieged by gargoyles and elementals, then their King goes mad, then their price flees, and dies, and is reanimated, then killed again, seriously? But it was cool to see Adelbern again.

Tomb of the Primeval Kings

I started two of my characters (Necro and Ranger) specifically because of this place. It's still pretty fun to take a party and clear it. If only the end drops were a bit better... or maybe even an end chest...

Drink from the Chalice of Corruption

#10
"That's right, drink the koolaid! Nah we didn't put nothin' in it. Just drink. Oh but you could become so much more if you dare drink from the Chalice of Corruption...."

It's always funny as hell to see someone walking around enveloped in the beautiful green cloud which lets you in on what sort of idiot they are. But don't be ashamed, I drank the koolaid one too. Dumbest thing I ever did. Have to trudge you way through the undercity past mobs of afflicted just to get rid of the damn condition.

On the other hand if you were smart/indescisive and just walked off with the chalice in hand then the Am Fah are your buddies for life. Too late for my warrior character, though.

The Deep

This elite mission had to have been my favorite mission of all the campaigns. These kind of large scale missions really help to bind together the guild with challenges and fun. I remember spending hours online just joking around on Teamspeak with guildies while going through the Deep. So much fun and yet so challenging!

Domain of Anguish

I remember being extremely excited when DoA first came out. This was and still is one of the most challenging areas of the game. I spent too much time as an Obs Flesh tank for DoA clears (pre-HM/NM) and I remember thinking one time "this is the only place that can make Obs Flesh interesting."
