i cannot find a topic on this site related to GW suggestions, all i can find is GW2 suggestions, so i decided to create one. if there is a topic for this then someone plz tell me where.

While I am sure many players would be upset at this build being made more playable as it would render all the effort they put into learning this build unnecessary and rob them of their somewhat elite status, I put those people on the same level as that guy who suggested giving veteran players an instant kill signet to be used on noob who got lucky or had better builds than them. Anyway, targeting one's minions should never have been this tough. How about each minion is given an icon up in the corner of the screen which can be clicked to target them, or another window for observing minion status, like the party window could be added in. I mean, this isn't rocket science people! And it wouldn't just be useful to minion bombers. I'm sure healing spells, hex removal, and enchantment spells other than Death Nova would benefit as well. A whole range of new options might be opened up. OR even if that doesn't happen, at least we know minion bombing will be a hell of a lot easier. [show less]
#1 I'd like to be able to have all heroes in my party and not have to use henchies. Might require some restrictions of course - for instance would make it a bit easy to get from Beacon's Perch to Droknar's Forge.
1- I wish Guard would work as it's name implies. If I'm getting attacked I want my pet to defend me not to wait till I target whatever attacked me. If didn't want him to attack I can just set him to Heel. 2- A Stay function would be great. Of course you'd have to get to the place you want the pet to Stay at. Those... [show more]

Those 4 commands really make him like a trained attack dog. Attack (sic'em) Stay, Heel and Guard as a default. No pet would just stay looking at you while your getting pounded.
Also It's really annoying to have to reopen the pet control window every time I portal. Please just leave it as I put it, like the hero control windows.

One of the biggest disappointments I had in Playing GW was when I bought Factions and made it to Tyria with my assassin char, only to find that Prophesies offered no armors for assassin characters. I've since gotten used to the idea, but one can't deny that there is a lack of logic to the number of armors for each profession. Ignoring the copies of Tyrian armor sets found in Factions these are the figures.
The logic seems to be; core armor sets which include scar or tattoo patterns have 31 sets; core armor sets which do not include scar or tattoo patterns have 29; Factions professions have 19; Nightfall Professions have 12; Warriors have 32 for no reason in particular. Also, dwarven armor sets are not allowed in the Hall of Monuments.
Now, I understand armors are difficult for programmers to think up and make, but as it is now, dervishes, paragons, assassins, and ritualists are really getting the short end of the stick. As we make more large updates, adding in a few armor sets would definitely be appreciated.
First of all, warriors should receive no new armor. Second, to compensate all other professions who did not receive a fifth armor set in EotN, a series of updates would add in new armors in increments. Ideally, about four new armor sets would be released per update and there would be six updates. It would look something like this:
1st Update = Ranger and Mesmer Dwarven armor sets as well as a Tryian armor set for Paragons and Dervishes.
2nd Update = Elementalist and Monk Dwarven Armor sets as well as a Tyrian Armor set for Assassins and Ritualists
3rd Update = Necromancer and Assassin Dwarven Armor sets as well as an Elite Canthan armor set for Dervishes and Paragons.
4th Update = Ritualist and Paragon Dwarven Armor sets as well as Elite Sunspear Armor for Assassins and Ritualists
5th Update = Dervish Dwarven Armor set as well as two Canthan armor sets cor Dervishes and Paragons ( Elite Kurzuck and Luxon)
6th Update = One more Tyrian Armor set for Assassins and Ritualists, and Three Tyian armor sets for Dervishes and Paragons
Of course, all of these would be prestige armors, so you still cant just take your sin to loin's arch and get new armor, but this would nearly Equalize the number of Prestige armors and hopefully it will give every profession more reasons to complete the campaigns. Elonian professions would still be behind Canthan ones and Canthan ones would still be far behind core professions, but this would at least get rid of those weird little statues in the HoM. If each of these were implemented every three months or st, then it would be completed in a year and a half, just about in time for GW2. [show less]

Ppl love the Gloves. No matter if Chaos, Glacial, Destroyer or whatever...they just love them. New gloves would be nice new content and Margonite Gloves would (in my oppinion) simply pawn. There's nothing that quite matches the feeling of playing through Guild Wars; Prophecies on an Assassin, Ritualist, Dervish, or Paragon and realizing that there is NO armor available to you throughout the game. While I understand that designing armor for each missing armor set is a daunting task, there is a way to make it easier on the designers. Open it up to the community. Make it a contest.
Warriors have access to 17 compleate Elite armor sets. Monks and Necromancers 16. Rangers, Mesmers, and Elementalist 15. Assassins and Ritualists have 11. Dervishes and Paragons a measley 8 compleate Elite armor sets. These are just the numbers on Elite sets. Each profession has some armor sets that it cannot access. These empty spaces are the perfect oppertunity for a design contest.
What does Elite Imperial armor look like for a Paragon? What is Assassin Primevil look like? What does a Dervish in Elite Ascalon armor wear? Let the community design for you, let the prize be having their armor put into the game.
It'd still be a major task to put the armor in the game, but it'd also be a nice variant of the usual design-a-weapon. Players would jump at the chance to design the new armor for their favorite character classes. Those filling their Hall of Monuments for Guild War 2 would no longer have to view bronze substitute statues. The community would love it. I know I would. [show less]
With the Hall of Monuments allowing you to add weapons, I've been getting questioned a lot by guildies about whether or not it will customize the weapon. Awards might be given to the best characters.
This system might give players who have completed all or most of the game a new reason to continue playing and stay active, doing what they like to do. [show less]
It would be better if characters could hold up to 300k rather than just 100k. If an item is worth 230k, you wouldnt have to waste time buying or selling ectos and personally i dont like trades which involve items as part of the currency. i prefer clean gold-only trades. And i doubt it invloves much work... [show more]

i was thinking that the wintersday moa bird should be a new pet, they got a jingle bear so why not. and maybe they could have a pet bat. and they shouldent make these pets really hard to get either.
would it not be alot easier for everyone if GW had its OWN timezone, in which the environment changes from light to dark in realtime. and possibly a clock in towns and outposts what has one time for guild wars no matter where you are in the world.i would like to hear what people have to add to this or why it wouldnt work, but personally i think it would be GREAT :-)
I think having the ability to have the time shown on the screen would be nice based on the PST time they already use for events to start. I can convert from that to my own time zone.
I like the idea of having clock towers in outposts and towns.
With a day night cycle they could also vary the fauna that spawns according to the time of day. You'd no doubt have to fight more bats and vampires at night.
P.S. Should this really be an answer rather than a comment to the topic?
night and day would be great also being able to tell the time in game in realtion to my own RT EST/PST woould be useful expecially seeing as the game is full screen or nothing
i also think the community chest for guild halls is a great idea for guild groups and alliances where one could dump unneeded mats so other guildys could gather stuff needed for there armor without you having to go all over creation to help them same for when they want to help you but have not unlocked the areas yet to get to you

I like the idea of day and night.. How about the changes of seasons as well?
Day and Night? That would be awesome :)
D
Day and night will be in GW2, but seasons i'm not so sure about, but it would be a great idea!!
